DEIB Mission
BLASTmedia’s diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) mission is to create an environment conducive to productive allyship, courageous conversations, and supportive and respectful dialogue through all areas of our agency. We recognize that various diverse perspectives and backgrounds bring a breadth of new ideas to the agency to help us solve the complex problems we face every day.
DEIB resources and agency actions:
- DEIB Committee - a volunteer-based group, led by our internal Lead of DEIB.
- Employee Resource groups - Our BIPOC, LGBTG+, and Working Parent resource groups are safe places for people to join a like-minded group.
- A DEIB overview is a part of our new hire onboarding for all employees.
- Annual all-company DEIB anonymous survey to track our internal progress.
- Hosting External DEIB Speakers.
- Quarterly internal DEIB-related Tip Tuesday sessions.
- Supporting local minority artists and vendors in any event or agency space we can.
